Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the recturai invoice data extraction service, including the website at recturai.com, the application, and any related APIs (together, the "Service"), operated by recturai ("recturai", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
recturai provides software that extracts structured data from invoices and related documents. You upload documents (PDFs or images), and the Service returns structured fields such as vendor details, totals, tax, and line items, along with confidence scores. The Service is provided on a subscription, credit-based basis as described on our pricing page, where one credit corresponds to one processed page.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and capable of entering into a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Subscriptions, billing and payments
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through our payment provider, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), who acts as the Merchant of Record for purchases.
- Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance. Usage beyond the included allowance is billed at the per-credit overage rate stated for your plan.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Taxes are calculated and collected by Paddle where required.
- We offer a 14-day free trial as described on the pricing page so you can evaluate the Service before paying. Please see our Refund Policy for details on refunds.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content you do not have the right to process, or that is unlawful, infringing, or violates the privacy rights of others;
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- Use the Service to build a competing product, or resell access without our written permission;
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or sanctions regime.
5. Your content and data
You retain all rights to the documents and data you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including all software, models, designs, and trademarks, is and remains the property of recturai and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as permitted here.
7. Service availability
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Automated extraction may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing extracted data before relying on it. We do not warrant that results will be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, recturai will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that may cause harm or legal exposure. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
